The development comes two weeks after Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa took over as Chief of Army Staff .
The following have been promoted:
 Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar appointed as DG ISI.
Lt Gen Bilal Akbar appointed as Chief of General Staff (CGS).
Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar appointed as President National Defence University (NDU).
Lt Gen Nazir Butt appointed as Corps Commander Peshawar (11Corps).
Lt Gen Hidayat ur Rehman as appointed Inspector General (IG)Training and Evaluation (IGT&E) at GHQ.
Lt Gen Asim Salim Bajwa appointed as Inspector General Arms (IG Arms) at GHQ.
Lt Gen Hamayun Aziz appointed as Inspector General C&IT at GHQ,
Lt Gen Qazi Ikram appointed as Chief of Logistic Staff at GHQ.
Lt Gen Sher Afgun as posted 31 Corps Comd (Bahawalpur).
Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal will continue as DG FWO. He was also recently promoted to the rank of Lt Gen.
Lt Gen Naeem Ashraf appointed as Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila(HIT).
Lt Gen Shahid Baig Mirza, made Corps Commander Karachi.
Major General Mohammad Saeed has been appointed as director general (DG) Rangers Sindh.
