Rabita Forum International hosted a seminar titled “China Pakistan Economic Corridor: A Road to Peace and Prosperity of the Region”. The event was aimed at emphasizing the significance of this project and highlighting the benefits that it yields. Chief guest for the event was Mr. Ahsan Iqbal who is theFederal Minister of Planning, Development & Reform. Mr. Ahsan Iqbal explained the various aspects of this project. He also took questions from the crowd and addressed all the concerns that were posed in reference to CPEC.
Ambassador MASOOD KHAN, Director General, Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad, Pakistan was the keynote speaker as he was Pakistan’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (September 2008 to September 2012) during the time when CPEC was being negotiated
